Nominations for the SBXFMPT

It's that time of year again! It's time for us to figure out the answer to the age-old question of "who is the best XF member of all time?" And what better way to do that than with the SUPREME Best XF Member Poll Thing!

Below is a sexy table of all current XF members, and a little bit of information about them. Any new members that join between now and the end of the nomination process will not be added to the table. Post counts and karma are current as of July 18, 2009 at 4:53 PM. Any changes to either of these are unlikely be changed. In order to be eligible to be nominated for the SUPREME Best XF Member ever 2009, an account must have been registered before July 17, 2009.

The Nomination Process
For those of you who were here for the ULTIMATE Best XF Member Poll Thing two years ago, the nomination process has only been slightly changed. Users may nominate up to 32 (Thirty-two) XF accounts from the list below. If you do not wish to nominate 32 users, you may nominate less; however, you may not exceed 32 nominations. Your nominations must be numbered in order (1 being your first choice, 2 being your second, etc.) If they are not numbered, they will be taken in the order that they are posted. Only one list of nominations will be taken from each user. Trying to post a second list of nominations from another account will result in none of your nominations counting. In order to prevent cheating, no accounts made after July 17, 2009 will be allowed to nominate anyone.

If you wish to change your nominations, MODIFY your original nomination post, and add a reply saying that you've changed your nomination. In order to keep this thread clean, keep all chat to a separate thread, and only post in this one to post your nominations. If you have any questions about the nomination process, also post that in a separate thread. Nomination changes must be done before the final nomination date (see below).

How Nominations Work
After the nomination period is over, nominations will be closed off, and the nominees will be given a nomination score. The nomination score will determine if they make it to the tournament round, and if they do, their placement. If enough users are nominated, 64 (Sixty-four) users will move on to the tournament round. If not, only 32 (Thirty-two) will move on.

An nth choice nomination will reward that user with a nomination score of 33-n points.
For example:
A first choice nomination will get 32 nomination points.
A second choice will get 31.
A third choice will get 30.
A thirty-second choice will get 1.
Refer to the second table in this post for an example of past nominations. If you nominate less than 32 people, your first choice will still be given 32 points.

NOTICE: The number of nominations allowed has been increased from 24 (Twenty-four) to 32 (Thirty-two) to allow for more people to be nominated, making it easier to reach 64.

In order for your nominations to be counted, you must post them in this topic no later than Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 11:59 PM. Submissions after that time may or may not be included.

The tournament round will begin on August 1st, 2009!
