should I rejoin the XF team? I'm not even sure why I swapped teams in the first place tbh

It would give us a shot at breaking the top 100 teams.

The gap closes. It hasn't been this intense since the early days.

Just a reminder that this is what used to pass for "intense":

I won't be able to catch up unless I start playing stepmania everyday again
which I'm not going to do, fuck that

Between work adding a bunch of keys every day and my current games being quite high on inputs (osu! for keys and LoL for clicks), my rank's been going up quite quickly. Catching up to me would be pretty involved. There's a 4 million key gap between me and the fourth place guy in Canada, which I think I can do by the end of the year, and a 12 million key gap between me and the top 50 worldwide, which I think I can break next year. A lot of these high ranking guys have been around since 2004/2005, so my average rate should be higher than theirs (especially since my recent activity is a fair bit higher than my average overall), so it's only a matter of time.

Assuming I play a minimum of 2–3 hours of StepMania (probably 6key), I can generate 100,000 keystrokes easily in one session. If I was actually determined enough to play every single day, that's more than 700,000 keystrokes in a week. I'm absolutely not going to do that though, fuck that.
It's strenuous on my wrists if I play for that long every session, and at that point it becomes a full blown chore than something of leisure. I honestly don't know how I managed to play practically every single day back in high school without finding it to be monotonous torture. Also, because I go bouldering on sundays, I completely exhaust my grip and finger strength for at least a day, so I can't play at all afterwards, lol.

Yeah, your peak usage was definitely consistently higher than mine. I've hit 100,000 keys in a day and close to that many clicks on another day, but it's pretty rare. For the last month, I'm averaging about 40,000 keys and 45,000 clicks per day, peaking at 80,000 keys in a day and 85,000 clicks in a day.

That screenshot is two days after XFW was established. I'm pretty sure I have more than 100,000 keystrokes waiting to be pulsed on my ThinkPad.

Yeah, it was the one I posted on the first page of this thread. That was our intense competition for first place.

I am now in the top 50 globally for both keys and clicks.
