I don't think we were that far off, really. Danny does work a desk job from what I understand at the moment, you did become a graphic designer. Forest apparently does do some nature shit now, although I forget what his job actually was. Kuldeep never did join the military, because he preemptively realized it wasn't for him; now he's working on becoming a coder and he probably could do porn on the side. And you guys said I was stupid for calling Tyler masculine, but the guy drives a truck all day now. well at the very least, even though I did try to major in mathematics and computer science, I didn't enjoy that shit and ended up leaving. I like studying civil engineering, I definitely want to become a field engineer, surveyor or project manager; I feel way too comfortable spending time learning about/working on construction related things. I feel completely at home in a pair of construction boots and a hard hat. All things considered, I don't think I'd enjoy working at a desk all the time too much. I'd like to learn how to sing well, all my musician friends have made me realize that there's a lot of fun and excitement in live performance. I'd probably just sing old shit like this all the time though. It would just be a hobby. daryl is MIA so who knows what became of him. really, we need to come back to this thread in another 5 years and see where we all really ended up going |

Forest models and archives bugs and shit using some macro 3D scanner, so he's actually technically a nature photographer. Besides driving a truck, I'm also usually the crew chief on bigger shows, so claims of my leadership skills were not unfounded. A lot of these weren't far off, yeah. lol
denny works a minimum waged office desk job doing administrative paperwork, occasionally filling in the role of a receptionist to answer phone calls and shit. he did graduate from graphic design like I did, but he doesn't have anything going for that other than rare freelance work he gets. apparently he's been looking, but has been unsuccessful—starting a career isn't exactly one of his major priorities at the moment from what I can tell.
varoon went back to school for electrical engineering at ryerson and currently works at home depot practically full-time for the summer. I couldn't really guess where this guy would end up back in high school.
yuree became an e-celebrity thanks to youtube and LoL, but I guess fits the role of an artist since she still has to create content for a living (aside from streaming on twitch). she currently lives in california with a roommate and basically makes enough money from her online stuff so she won't have to work any other job for the time being.
brenden besties jumped between different jobs after high school. as of right now, he currently works at a foodland in the middle of nowhere practically full-time. apparently he assumes the role of a grocery manager.
I was too dumb to get into the electrician field and I didn't have the passion or skill to draw for a living as an illustrator/artist so I kinda picked a middle ground between arts and tech. graphic design and digital media arts fit perfectly so I just applied to programs at different schools. chose seneca over other schools mainly for the facilities, transportation convenience, and co-op internship in the final semester, which coincidentally happened to be the same choice as den's. I don't remember if we had a mutual agreement going on about getting into the same school since we're both pursuing the same field, rofl.

man i've never understood how people can work office jobs for min wage (i would hate working in an office). my current temp job is $12/h; I don't even do anything most of the time all day and just start doing pull ups off of random shit in the factory out of boredom. my supervisor actually caught me doing chin ups off of this one giant machine that makes boxes and he just gave me this look like I was retarded, shook his head and walked off; he genuinely doesn't even seem to care if I do any work. next summer I definitely want to be doing a co-op placement as a field engineer or surveying or something like that. also I can't picture danny doing a good job of answering phones lol.

One of the rolling ladders we have are perfect for doing pull ups and chin ups on, and no one ever really cares. also I can't picture danny doing a good job of answering phones lol. I wonder if anyone's hung up out of frustration. |
