Ever try glossy outside? Or in front of a window? Or in front of a lamp?

Ever try glossy inside? Or with window blinds? Or with a lampshade? Yes. The light still leaks through the blinds and lampshade to poison my screen, and the inside is riddled with many sources of light. Help?

A glossy display would have a nicer image, and glare would not be an issue in that room.
