Commitment is essential! Especially after you've met in real life, and if you have to be separated again. It's killer, seriously. I can't even sleep well anymore since Ant's been gone.

I'd say it's worse when you first knew the person, then they moved away. That's a pretty big killer.

We'll all end up with someone in the future though the real question is who will it be?
Will it be with a childhood friend?
Will it be with someone you recently met?
Will it be someone you have a lot in common with?
And yeah, it could go on.
Honestly, the chances of me ending up with Shana are extremely low and very unlikely but I would do anything to make it happen. Although I wish to pursue that dream, it won't become a reality even if I believe it'll work out and break my balls.
Most likely, I'll end up with some random Asian girl in the future that I know today or will eventually meet later IRL (After dating Mila and breaking up in April, I've become very skeptical of online relationships and dating). But for now, I will admire Shana until that ever happens.
P.S. I find it ironic that the day Mila broke up with me (IIRC April 17th, 2008) was the exact same day I started talking to Shana, rofl.

Patrick, have you had many IRL relationships?
I really, really don't like the fact that most people, well, when they have an online relationship, and it fails, that they turn their back from it completely. Why? I'm sure that most people that have had an IRL relationship and it has failed, so why not turn their back on that, too?
It's very angering, and I just fucking loathe that, and the fact that you all gave me constant shit for caring about someone online, and saying it was how stupid it was, and how pointless, but now your friends are doing it, and they get a different treatment? I believe I have a more successful relationship than any of you have ever had, and I want to punch you all in the face.

also forest was the only to object to online relations. I did agree with him though.
I hate patrick because of his online relations. For the record, I have never had an online relationship. Only friends and camwhores, which are acceptable.

I've been in three relationships in my life: - Some online one that lasted literally two days.
- Cousin's friend that lived in Toronto when I was in grade 8 or 9 that lasted for about a week or two.
- Mila which lasted 5 months. More of a long distance relationship seeing as though I met her IRL.
Saying "I love you" over the internet is quite different from actually saying it to the person's face IMHO. Though, you do bring up a good point about real life vs. online relationships, so I understand your point of view, Annie. Every single day I'm thinking about my whole situation and what exactly should I do? |
