So, my parents' laptop is being retarded. Its screen, well, the outside of it has... Like... It looks like there is Coke inside the screen. I've tried everything to figure out what it was, but I can't figure it out. Like, it's something wrong with the actual screen. I searched Google, but found nothing.

My mother and I think that it is just getting old. It's only two years old though. Maybe my sister spilled something on it. We don't know.

It kind of looks like the following, except the grey is more brown, you can see through it, and it's very, very noticable.

I can see it, but use macro mode. I've never damaged any of my screens, so I don't know what water damage might look like.

That's incredibly low or small for a two-year-old laptop. A ten-year-old ThinkPad is generally 1024x768.
