Read the conversation log posted below first.
Ultimately this decision is my choice but I'd like to hear XF's opinions first.
To be honest, the school newpaper absorbs and the articles seem like they're slapped together in 5 minutes with several grammatical, punctuation and formatting errors. In fact, I spent an entire period in Math class going over these errors. They also need to learn how to Justify. Simply seeing the jaggedness and structure of the articles pissed me off.
If I were to become a cartoonist for the newspaper, then the newspaper might actually be worth looking at. Fuck the boring school news when you can read the comics.
This would also give me the chance to apply odd and nonsensical humour which would be circulated around the school, though most likely the newspapers will end up in garbage cans and recycling bins anyways.
Also, this could add a reference to my Resume which might or might not appeal to employers.

You're a wicked artist! Would you care to join our school newspaper as a cartoonist?
Naveed says (1:44 AM):
You wont have to do much work, just make a comical .. comic?
/Gu/ndam-Dude <3 Shana says (1:45 AM):
So... Basically a create a comic strip for every issue of the newpaper that'll be printed this year?
Naveed says (1:46 AM):
Yes, of sorts. And if you want to do more, say write articles or help us with fundraising, you're welcome to do those as well.
Naveed says (1:46 AM):
We're trying to expand.
Naveed says (1:46 AM):
And we're in dire need of a fundraising team, too, btw.
/Gu/ndam-Dude <3 Shana says (1:48 AM):
Hmm... Good offer but I'll have to think about it. If possible, I can give you response by this weekend or so.
Naveed says (1:49 AM):
Lol. Sure thing. Whenever at your convenience. You happened to have came up during our meeting today, because we were looking for prospective artists and everyone knows you're brilliant at it. Lol. But sure, get back to me whenever you can. And thanks for the help.
