My observation seconds the conclusion that the motherboard is likely fried. Interestingly enough, the monitor also has serious issues, suggesting the GPU may have died and taken the monitor with it, or some kind of power surge ripped through the both of them. Given the power supply is still functional, albeit missing four pins, the former seems more likely.
As such, a new motherboard is in the process of being ordered. A response will be delivered later today.

I will examine the outlet store tomorrow to see if a suitable replacement is in stock. If so, it would be much faster than placing an order.

$110 for the Mother Board (plus shipping and handling) is what I gave to Tyler before he left my house. I probably won't order an LCD monitor online though. I'll just stop by Future Shop or Best Buy and pick up a relatively cheap one if I choose not to put up with my fucked up and flickering 15.4".
I have a hefty amount of cash saved up from years worth of Birthdays, Christmas and Chinese New Year money.

If you have a decent working LCD in the assortment, I might consider it. I can't fit a CRT on my small Asian desk, rofl.

You are now the proud owner of an Intel DG41RQ. It will be installed some time tomorrow.

New motherboard didn't fix the problem. Turns out that the processor is the real problem. After removing my old motherboard from the case, we noticed this burn mark embedded into the metal casing behind it where the processor was.

The computer refuses to boot with the DG41RQ. The next course of action would be to test a 24-pin power supply before testing another socket 775 CPU in both motherboards to determine what parts are in fact faulty.

Yeah Tyler why the fuck aren't you working at Best Buy or some shit? You're more qualified to work there than any employee I've ever seen working there.
