Outside of the first couple weeks when it was buggy, there is nothing wrong with Vista (assuming you've updated it since them).

Vista was a travesty performance-wise from Beta to RTM. Service Packs 1 and 2 helped, but it still lags behind 7 and XP in general responsiveness.
