I've spent the last 1-2 years idling in roughly 70 channels every single day, all day, turning my computer off only in extremely rare circumstances. My IRC client (weechat-curses) creates logs of every channel.

Note the fact that it's just simple text logging, and also keep in mind that a lot are just very short pm logs. I'm deleting this folder and turning off logging, but I'll keep this picture as a memento.
