Had an optometrists appointment today to get my vision checked out to see if my eyes have worsened (I have an appointment once every year). This year, my vision stayed the same so they haven't worsened which was pretty nice but then I had to sit through two visual field tests, first one being 20 minutes long and the other 10 minutes. Last year, I took the same two tests and ended up failing the 20 minute one (which is harder) but passing the 10 minute one. Same results yielded this time as well, so my optometrist said that I have the early signs of Bitemporal Hemianopsia. She's going to book an appointment for me to see a special doctor so I can get my eyes checked out in detail. my eyes are fucked welp |

As I said, it's only the early signs so it's not serious at all. I can still see very clearly when I'm wearing my glasses.
My optometrist is just scared that if I'm left untreated as I grow older, my vision will really start to fuck up, so better to get myself checked out and get the treatment I might need before it worsens.
But as of now, it's unconfirmed until I actually go see this special doctor.

Just came back from the Canadian Centre for Advanced Eye Therapeutics to do another visual field test. Fucking place is pretty damn big but busy and majority of the patients there are old people. Simply waiting to be called up took longer than the actual test.
Appointment to see this special doctor is scheduled in late November.
