Umehara is a motherfucking monster. His DVDs sell like crazy in Japan/China other asian nations.

Every SFIII:3S player on Earth wishes they could accomplish even once something of that magnitude. He plays SFIV pretty intensely too but only as Ryu.

Man if I didn't have all this homework, I would be playing Street Fighter IV right now. For fucking hours. or Blazblue, for days and shit.

and fuck all of this MMo gamers are soo more hardcore cause of not only the TIME investment but the money investment too, like literally they dress up as their favourite race, buy all of the rand fucking merch, get MARRIED online, find random fucking hook ups for sex online, fly from literally all over the world just to go to a convention like blizzconto meet people like them etc etc

plus there is the fact that all demographics are MMo players and there are only like either 18 year olds or 3 year olds playing FPS's. Old women, 13 year olds , teen agers, fucking CEO's of major companies anyone and every one man (there are fucking 111 million ppl playing wow from all demographics)

other than like MLG players I think there is a WAYYYYY higher time investment man, like i know people who've fucking played for nearly a week straght non stop.

and like i know alot of ppl have like given up there lives for (insert popular FPS here) but there are WAY more who give up their lives for (MMo here) . Like if you ever watch web tv show the guild it show perfectly exactly that

Yes but I can't even respect the fanbase. If you are a hardcore MMO player I can't respect you as a gamer because it's an MMO. You can buy all the merchandise, go to all the conventions, become as much of a social pariah and a complete waste of life as you wish. I still don't buy that MMO gaming takes any talent, just a shitload of obsession, wasted money and wasted time. Whereas if you are an FPS or fighting gamer, you have to have a shitload of obsession, kill a ton of time AND develop a ton of skill.

I've never gotten into any sort of MMOs and I never will. I just simply don't see what the big deal is over wasting your time and effort leveling up, collecting shit and doing some time consuming quests or whatever else there is to do in a MMO.
