talking to one of my friends how they are developing a way to sense gravitational pulls
but once they make that they can fire where they know that nothing is and if it still picks up gravitational forces it will prove that there are other universes

The whole point of referring to something as existing in a universe other than our own is to state that it does not interact with anything contained within our universe. Disregarding this, extremely precise instruments for measuring gravitational fields have existed for some time. Disregarding this as well, there is no place in the universe which experiences no gravitational forces.
