if you look at previous results, really the only spanish speaking countries that won the world cup prior was Uruguay and Argentina. In comparison it would be more accurate to say that those from Portugal or with cultural roots in Portugal (Brazil) are the wons who win more often than not. I like the fact that Brazil wins so much because they're our next door neighbour. Go boating through my country and you're likely to accidentally pass through Brazil in the process. |
