1. RANKINGS
Clean Account - An account with no posts is given this title.
New Member ([image] ) - You will be given this rank after your first post.
Passing By ([image] ) - You will be given this rank after 10 posts.
Occasional Poster ([image] [image] ) - This rank is given after 75 posts.
Established Member ([image] [image] [image] ) - You will become a true member after 250 posts. By this time you should hopefully be well aquainted with other members.
Recognized Member ([image] [image] [image] [image] ) - A total of 350 posts will reward a promotion to this rank.
Respected Member ([image] [image] [image] [image] [image] ) - You will be promoted to this rank after 500 posts.
Frequent Member ([image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] ) - You will be promoted to this rank after 1000 posts.
Devout Member ([image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] ) - You will be promoted to this rank after 2000 posts. This is the highest normal title you can achieve.
XF Veteran ([image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] ) - At 3500 posts you will be promoted to an XF title.
XF Elite ([image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] ) - You will be promoted to this next XF title at 5000.
XF Icon ([image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] ) - You will be promoted to this higher XF title at 10000 posts.
XF God ([image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] ) - This rank is given after 15000 posts. This is the highest non-staff ranking achievable.
Data Administrator - A Data Administrator is an account used for coding and testing. There is only one Data Administrator, Fake User. You cannot achieve this rank.
Suspended - If you are suspended you will not be able to visit XF until your suspension expires. Suspensions may range from an hour to many years.
New Moderator - A new moderator has the ability to modify and control posts on the boards they are assigned to.
Specialist Moderator - A Specialist Moderator has more power over the boards they are assigned to than a New Moderator.
General Moderator - A General Moderator has the ability to modify and moderate across all of XF. To become a General Moderator, run in the General Moderator Election.
Lead Moderator - A lead moderator is given full power across all boards, as well as some administrative powers.
Disciplinary Officer - A Disciplinary Officer is granted the powers of the moderation team, but is also capable of suspending and banning members.
Administrator - The administrator is the most powerful person at XF. The administrator has the ability to do anything he wants to, whether it's creating new boards or deleting the entire forum. This rank cannot be earned.
2. GUIDELINES
1. Respect other members - Go to the Flamethrowers board if you want to take it out on someone.
2. Stay on topic - Don't randomly change the subject to break a conversation.
3. Don't spam - Nonsensical posting and advertising is not permitted. This includes double/triple/quadruple posting and beyond, one-word posts which contribute nothing to the thread, or other such wastes of time.
4. Resize large images - Do not post an image wider than 800 pixels. Either resize it or link to it.
5. Leave dead threads alone - They fell from activity for a reason. There is no need to bring back something no one cares about. However, if you have a valid reason for reviving an old thread, you may do so. If you are unsure, create a new thread.
