Magical Drop V releases on Steam on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at a price of $9.99 USD. The game features new game modes and allows for gameplay with up to four players.
I will be hosting a tournament as soon as we have at least four (4) people that own the game, and will continue to host regular tournaments if there is enough interest. Tournament games will be done using the normal one-on-one mode, in a similar format to the Magical Drop III tournament. And, because she's the best character in the game, here's some World (Look how excited she is for Magical Drop V!):

If it's actually under $10 I may get it. The girl DOES look really excited for it.

Sadly, I think she'll be much less bouncy in this game.

I don't imagine it'll have a particularly hard learning curve, Tyler, you'll pick it up pretty fast. (I also have no idea how to play it) How many people do you know that are *for sure* buying it Michael?

Well, I guess the only person I know that is certainly going to buy it is me, but Matt, Andrea, and Stephanie have all expressed interest. If you'd like to see what the game is about, I'd encourage you to play Magical Drop III on an arcade emulator. The game is really easy to figure out (even Samantha figured out how to play on her own), but it's pretty difficult to master.

Also wasn't world's name Stephanie at some point? rofl I'm not entirely sure where the characters' actual names came from. They're mentioned on the Magical Drop Wiki, but don't make any appearance in any of the games, as far as I know. It's possible their given names were mentioned in an instruction book or something, but from what appears in game, their tarot card names seem to be their actual names.

The Tarot Cards would make a lot more sense. I always felt the characters were the human (cartoon? whatever) embodiment of the cards.

Yes, that's how it's meant to be. The Tarot Card names are what they're referred to as in-game, and I always took that to be their official names. The source on the "real" names is questionable.
