I've identified some of my Unknowns. Some are Fn keys, I'm pretty sure the rest are my volume buttons, and the other buttons which are on the front of the case, like fast forward, rewind, play and skip.

I just don't get how the hell you can sit and type so much. Even long conversations with Daryl about Ubuntu spanning two Pidgin crashes don't make any real difference.

Perhaps I will conceive a device consisting of a stepper motor continuously pressing the pause key at a high speed. Or better yet, a circuit which spoofs the electronic signal for the pause key at a rapid rate.
