The battle of the primaries is all but over, and the parties have found their nominees. Now it is time for the next and most important frontier: The General Election.
In this thread discuss all things relating to the 2016 General election. I might suggest the Primary thread be locked because the thread is no longer relevant. I'm keeping the choices here fairly slim, other parties will as usual, not gain a significant number of voters. The Green Party and Libertarians have grown significantly so they're worth putting up. Poll will close on November 9th, 2016, as that's when we will know who the 45th President of the United States is.

Propositions: Strong believes in the power of Free Market to correct most of America's problems. Strongly opposed to regulation on industry, yet in favour of increasing gun control across America. US Foreign policy should center entirely around protecting America, and nothing else. Supports legalization of recreational marijuana. Opposed to stricter immigration law and enforcement. Overall fiscally conservative, socially liberal.

Propositions: Highly focused on protecting the environment, fully changing the energy sector of the US by the year 2030. Supports minimum income and the government assuring a job for every single person to eliminate poverty. $15/h minimum wage. Education and Healthcare as a federally granted right to all US citizens. Strongly supports legalization of marijuana. Very peaceful, non-interventionist foreign policy.

Under the tutelage of President Barack Obama (the same man she once contested with, lost to and whose supporters she nicknamed "Obama Boys"), Hillary has managed to fix her tarnished image in many Americans' eyes. Despite her complete failure in Benghazi resulting in multiple American deaths and the formation of the Libyan branch of ISIS known as ISIL, Clinton has still managed to be paraded enough in front of the masses by the mainstream media to convince many of them to vote for her. Charge a 35% tariff on American manufacturers setting up factories China, Mexico and other third world nations to create profit for the US or incentivize them to return manufacturing to the US. Huge reinvestment into American industrial and energy sector, very lax regulations to help stimulate economic growth. Completely ban or severely vet Muslims from entering the US until the jihadist problem is solved. Completely annihilate ISIS and all other radicalized Islamic threats. Leave the issues of marijuana legalization and LGBT rights to be a state side decision. Wants to Make America Great Again and put America First.
