hooooooly FUCKing shit Vengeance rules.
8.5 hours deeps into the game, this is how my party is looking. I've been comfy as fuck grinding mitamas with mouse and keyboard in 4K 144fps. Around 10 levels an hour.
The PC version of this game just fucking wipes the floor with the Switch version. Game runs fluid as fuck on desktop in 4K and runs at least 2.5x the framerate it did on Switch with proper draw distance.
This is by far the comfiest JRPG ever fucking made, jesus christ. Fatlus truly outdid themselves.
I actually managed to transfer a completed save that had True Neutral ending cleared on the Switch in Vanilla SMTV. Apparently you can only fight Satan in Canon of Vengeance if you have completed True Neutral ending of Canon of Creation, or transfer a True Neutral ending save file. Pretty lame of ATLUS to make PC players who bought SMTV Vengeance just for the Vengeance storyline have to redo the original story (which they can't transfer through Steam) in order to fight the endgame superbosses. Had to load up the True Neutral Vanilla SMTV save file in Yuzu for SMTV, then load up Vengeance in the emulator to create a save transfer bonus in Vengeance. Then take the emulator Vengeance save file and transfer it to the Steam save, just had to add .sav extension. Actually works and lets you have level 99 demons in your compendium plus a bunch of bonuses for completing True Neutral in Vanilla SMTV. It makes no sense that it should work given that Vanilla SMTV was never released on Steam, but somehow it does work. Really makes you think how easy it would actually be to exchange save files through platforms but these gaming corporations just don't want to empower the consumer. Thank god for mods and emulation, so that I could transfer a save file from the Switch version and save myself 80 hours of time.
Well, in the end it was worth it because I've been fucking annihilating these mitamas and won't have to redo Canon of Creation. God this shit is comfy.

This is the strongest fucking SMT character I have ever made. Literally just Critical Aura and Murakumo your way to a championship. I feel just like Giannis running and dunking his way to the Larry O'Brien Trophy.
Also this has been my Steam cover for the game since release date.

Damn, I did it again. Man I'm good.
You gotta love how much more characterization the demons have been given in this game compared to the first. The Demon Hangout is pretty cool, gives you a lot of chances to talk to the demons and make them overpowered.
Well, it's been a fun second trip around this game, now in 144fps in 4K. But I think I'm ready to finish the game off and get ready for Wukong to come out.
