This thread is dedicated to one of the best board games ever, Riichi Mahjong. A game that's admittedly hard to learn at first but after a while becomes really addictive.

This is my new jam. First time I won off of 7 pairs with 3 dora tiles. Hit that 18000 point Haneman.
Mahjong Soul, more like Kino Soul. A great mobile game that features typical anime girl tropes. But what really caught my eye was the crossover with the legendary Mahjong series, Akagi featuring the titular Akagi Shigeru and Iwao Washizu. It was one of my favourite anime series of all-time, it's hard to talk about to people since no one really watched it but man, it was pure gambling kino. By the same author who made Kaiji.
That feel when you will never be as based as the legend Akagi Shigeru. The Akagi anime made me learn how to play mahjong and read the entire manga Ten: The Nice Guy on the Path To Tenhou that featured Akagi when he was older and his eventual death. One of the most kino anime/manga characters of all-time. They even gave Akagi his glove in the game.
When you finally hit that tenpai and declare riichi.

I know it will never happen because of how goddamn asian this game is but I wish it would get popular in the West just so I could meet people to actually play the game with. Oh well.
