It is not that big a deal, most of human behaviour could just be considered transferred from other people over various generations; most people strive for originality but invariably people have a tendency to behave like other people. I can definitely attest to having picked up many expressions and mannerisms from other people; mimicry is the primary method of developing language and social behaviour anyhow.
