It's actually been several years since I've played Counter-Strike: Source. Curtis decided that he wanted to kick my ass, so we played a LAN match. Unfortunately, I was too used to CoD4's concept of bullets actually going where you aim, and resultingly got wrecked.

CoD4's concept of bullets actually going where you aim BF2 did the same thing as CS. There is a reason why I play UT.

BF2 got away with it because it existed to give vehicles a larger role in the game. CS:S simply makes no sense.

I always played on non-vehicle servers.
Vehicles pissed me off in that game. The moment I step into an APC, a plane comes and knocks it down. Same with tanks.
Even when I was in a plane, I would get few kills. The only good thing about that game was flying around in a helicopter. I practiced my aviator skills in that game, and eventually became mediocre.

I was pretty brilliant at vehicle combat. The trick to armour is to make sure your team has sufficient anti-aircraft weaponry. It's a good idea to roll in a convoy with a Bradley or the MEC/PLA equivalent. Those things are pretty good at ripping up air assets.

Too bad CoD4 doesn't support vehicles.
Crysis does. God damn it, they are fun to drive. Tank fights are also fucking intense.

I will purchase and play through that game when I can run it well at full settings.

Yes, me too.
I got stuck at a part in the game because I had a very bad framerate.
