Things that are in my room: tatami slippers, guitar, guide to reading kanji, a Keroro Gunsou Gunpla, a talking Code Geass figure of Rolo, two Rubik's Cubes (3x3x3 and 4x4x4), six stuffed animals, a bunch of calculators, The Star Wars Original Trilogy Boxed set, chopsticks in a case, antidepressants (for the ronery otaku), wireless USB adapters, fan, electric guitar (different from the aforementioned acoustic), fifty-three mangas (rofl, just counted), fifty-two books (including novels and reference books), an issue of Comptiq (rofl, this is the token otaku magazine), a shitload of old video game magazines, a cat (her name is Ashes), a Code Geass Poster, an action figure of Konata from Lucky Star, a set of kongas, a tent for my cat (she likes to roll around in it), two computers (one desktop, one laptop), a globe, a Lucky Cat doll, a Nintendo DS, a bowl full of Gachapons (for Patrick, lol) and green tea, some transparent prints of Takashi Murakami artwork, some pot and cigarettes, a Wii, a Dreamcatcher, and a totebag used to carry books around.
So have I finally attained the status of being a worthless otaku?

There tends to be a lot of difference between weeaboos and otakus, but alright. no you have to have a funky name What sort of name is funky enough to render one an otaku? |

Fifty three mangas already makes you an otaku. Although you lack the anime merchandise, the mangas more than make up for it.
And yeah, I'll drop by your house sometime to pick up my souvenirs.

Generally I never spend money on anime unless I am going to watch it in a theatre, or I am renting a Hayao Miyazaki movie. Although I pretty much made an exception for the Lucky Star stuff. Some anime related goods in my room: The Lucky Star DVD The Lucky Star Shirt A figure of Keroro Gunsou A figure of Konata Izumi (rofl, got it from a Gachapon machine in Japan) Some Moyashimon toy that is somewhere in my room, I seem to have lost it  A few really old golden Pokemon cards in my closet (rofl, I still have those gigantic Pokeballs too) The cat hat A talking figure of Rolo from Code Geass R2. A Code Geass poster.
