Nice. Funny enough, I was thinking about doing another vocal layering test. There's a lot of line noise, which only becomes worse once you start overlapping recordings.

Myself, recorded eight times with a Shure SM58 routed through a Canon XL2. Timing and pitch are pretty awful though.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SM58It's an awesome microphone. I can cut out the computer noise easily by angling it correctly, which is why my recording is so incredibly clean for eight layered tracks.
