Farewell can be a single word, but "fare" and "well" are both separate words as well, both of which make sense when paired together.

"Fare well" does indeed work, but that does not mean that I thought "Farewell" was not a word. Even searching my own chat log with you for "Farewell" brings up 5 separate instances.
The main purpose was that I said "Fare well", as illustrated by the fact that you decided to list that as your first, and therefore most important, reason for making this thread.
The fact that I bid myself goodbye is the only "intentional mistake" that I have made here, unless you think I'm incapable of realising that I was typing out my own name while preparing to leave the chat, which I wouldn't exactly put past you.

I suppose it was an accident when I did precisely the same thing a little over 6 hours before that conversation, in another group chat, also? Although I was indeed scanning the conversation list, I did not type my own name on accident, as should be plainly obvious.
