Perhaps I didn't specify the situation well enough.
Let's say there was some sort of awful thing that troubled you. You know that you could rid yourself of these feelings by doing something, but that something would harm other people who are important to you. Would you betray those you know and love to put these demons to rest, or would you let it haunt you for the rest of your life? The first option would mean possibly losing others to clear yourself of your own burden, while the second option would be a lifetime of torment.
I chose option C, but you are not presented with such a choice.

If I understood this situation better, I would have voted for A. I like being tormented because it makes life more interesting. I voted for B previous, I don't know if you guys can forcefully retract my vote or anything like that.
