The two times I have been in your room, that has been sprawled across your screen. In the rare instances I use IRC, I use Pidgin as my client.

Ewww, Pidgin  GUIs make me sad. If you want to be a total pro at IRC, at least use something cool like irssi, weechat-curses, or if you are too stupid to edit a config file just use XChat. weechat-curse I like because the DCCing is a lot more organized and simplified than on other clients, also pretty much everything has a keyboard shortcut so you absolutely never have to use a mouse, even if you are splitting your window into hundreds of little virtual terminals, or just using screen or something to scan through various client sessions at once. So yeah, I know a lot about IRC  |

Well, I guess there's always Finch or something. I just like how Pidgin handles a huge fuckload of protocols so I don't have to use multiple programs.
