I understand the point of Simplified and Traditional Chinese and all but Traditonal Spanish makes no fucking sense unless there's like some sub language of Spanish I don't know about.

Spanish has many dialects. Northern (traditional), Southern (not traditional), Mexican, Argentinian. And then in Spain, furthermore, a large region speaks Catalan. So I'm guessing they are making it clear that they are using the Spanish of northern Spain.
