Her right eye is slightly longer than the left while the left is slightly wider than the right. Also some inconsistency between the two. Eye lashes are missing on the right eye and the shape of them are different

Jesus Christ. This is why I hate visual arts relating to anime characters.

PS I laughed hysterically when I saw that picture pointing out the errors.

The nose and mouth were also too small.

Yes, both of them are rather small and equal in size though the nose and mouth don't really matter in anime drawings (The nose is more important the mouth though). The most important facial features are definitely the eyes.

There's also an inconsistency for the pupils. The pupil itself is larger on the left eye than the right eye and the right eye has a glare spot while the left eye is missing it.

Anime artwork inconsistencies really bother me but that might be because I watch too much anime and can draw it. There are most likely several drawing inconsistencies in animes though they aren't noticeable due to the animation itself unless you're able to pause or freeze frame.

It's a shame that Art colleges and universities only accept realism as an "art", meaning no cartoons or anime or anything fictional. All direct observation sketches and drawing from your mind. Thinking beyond the screen bullshit like objective and subjective drawings.

Fuck, if I were to pursue a career as a striving artist, I'd much rather end up in some studio drawing out scenes and stuff for an anime or perhaps a comic rather than drawing real people and things. Realism seems to be my only weakness in visual arts. Damn my Asian-ness.

Or I could become some sort of art critique seeing as though I'm Shana's art critique when it comes to her pencil drawings and computer vectors.
