Alas, it is one of those plastic cases sealed shut from the outer edge! It seems opening this package will be a near insurmountable task. I am prepared, my gleaming steel blade at the ready. Oho?! WHAT IS THIS? It seems they have pointed out a tab in which I must "open here". Obliterating the package's heavy armour plating MISSION COMPLETE Logitech is now the God of Packaging. Considering I paid 22.57 for these, the audio quality and mic quality are rather good for the price.

someone at logitech really likes bags though
When I bought these 5.1 speakers, it came in a large box, with two sheets of styrofoam.
Every speaker had its own bag, and layer of tape surrounding it. Every roll if wire FOR those speakers also had tape and bags over it. The sub bag was a bitch to remove too. God damn it. nothing beats opening 12 airtight bags continuously.

This is true.
When I got my piece of shit stereo speakers (which are now mono, thanks to the right satellite being a whore), everything in the box was bagged. The speakers, the sub, the wires, the jacks, all of which were in an even LARGER bag.
Not only that, there were twist ties on everything. God.

I don't remember exactly how my Altec Lansing 251 speakers were packaged, but I remember them being a bitch to get out of the packaging. There were damn thick plastic bags everywhere when it was all over. Seven years later, and now I'm possibly looking at replacing them.
More packaging fun.
