Yesterday, I expanded the map height to what was supposed to be double the original, but resultantly 321 units from the bottom of the map, where sea level became 160 units from the bottom of the map. The map was originally 64 units in height, with sea level at 32 units. This seemed pretty cool at first, but some problems were discovered after a short while, and the original map size was restored. This poll will determine which map will be run on the server.
Original map size: 256x256x64 (sea level at 32) Expanded map size: 256x256x321 (sea level at 160)
Caveats of expansion: - Grass no longer grows or dies - Gold stripped from the map (owning the pyramid pretty hard) - The map takes much longer to load - Framerate takes a significant hit due to the larger map - Lag issues caused by the size of the map - Topographic and height maps can no longer be generated - Larger server overhead for Mayzuka (but none of you care about that)

No,
this is like having 2 MB of storage space back in the old days. I like to have small things to manage.

How long will this poll be open? I don't want to finish my platform, and then find out we're switching back or something.

It will close when a majority of miners have expressed their opinion.

The map should not be expanded in height.
What else can you do?
