This is probably one of the best platformers I've played. This is how platformers should be made. This is how good one-man projects should be.

Mario, Metroid and Legend of Zelda smashed up into one I'd say. With an ingenious weapon system, four different endings and two bonus dungeons (which require certain conditions to be met - I can almost assure you you won't fulfill them on the first playthrough) it's also got a fair bit of replay value. If you enjoy platformers to any extent, check out Cave Story.

I'm almost done my first playthrough. I read a walkthrough and I missed a shitload of stuff (not to mention I'm no longer eligible for the good/great endings, only the normal ending) so I can see myself playing through this again twice or so.

Maybe we can even get speedrun shit going.

He just plays through the games and talks, the games are entertaining to watch, but it is DC's commentary that makes it awesome. I suggest watching at least 2 before you give up on it (if you do) [also switch games if you don't want the game silked for you]
