BAWLZ.
[glow=red,2,300]Storytimes[/glow]
So I tried to log into my retail WoW account (yeah, WoWfag here) and was unable to log in. It gave me a message saying that my WoW account was merged with "my" battle.net account and that I need to log in using my battle.net account. Weird. I don't remember combining my WoW account with Battle.net or any such thing. So I tried going to the WoW account management. Again, it told me I had to use my battle.net account to get in. Fuck. So I went and checked my email because thats where they send account change info. Apparently at about 4:30 this morning my password was changed and that my account was now bound to a battle.net account. Funny, I don't remember being awake at the time. There was another email (about 4:40 this morning) notifying me that I had changed the email account associated with my WoW account. So this kind of absorbs. Not only because I worked so hard to get my paladin to level 80 and his professions to 450 (mining, blacksmithing) and my cooking to 400-something and my fishing to 200-something and not to mention my alt leveling (which I worked relatively hard on). It really absorbs because I cannot access my account management and therefore my billing. On August 14 or so my friend's father's credit card will be charged another 40-something dollars (which I intended to cancel anyway). So all I really want to do is cancel the stupid subscription. If I can't get my account back, that absorbs. But I sure as hell don't want anyone to be playing my account. I guess if I am unable to get my account back I can just get it banned somehow. I mean, I still have all of the billing info and such so I am likely to have the upper hand if he (the guys who is now playnig my account) tries to play innocent. Oh. And my friend (a neighbour) with whom I play WoW had checked his account after I told him this story. He was able to log in just fine. He also noticed that "I" was online. Fucking asswipe. People can't do this shit and not expect consequences. If I find out who did this, I might actually go to his house and smash his legs in with a sledgehammer. Because I mean, why would you hack someones account? Especially in a video game for which they pay a monthly fee? You can't expect to get away with it with no consequences. Does it not make sense? Its retribution, right? Fuck you, assholes.
