It guessed the majority of my characters but once I started choosing characters and people I knew wouldn't be listed in the database, I defeated him pretty easily

the fucked up part is the fact that even if you lose it make you add that character into it's database....
for example it didnt get Vikram lall (rofl tyler) and now it will, since i wrote his name

Yeah I tried Garfield and he got it so I did Shaun Hastings from Assassin's Creed II and he was so confused... Thought he was some guy from WoW.
