Alternative Language Boards:
- Consolidate that shit. It's ugly and no one even uses it.
Special Interests:
- Fashion and Apparel, Literature, Sports, and Vehicles -> Filter all of these into an "Other" category. No one uses these.
Social:
- Careers, Debate, and News and World Events -> Again, put this into an "Other" category or something.
Also, clean up the dead threads (aged 5+ years with limited replies). I don't think they should be deleted, but there are simply too many dead things cluttering up the place. Find an alternative, perhaps? Like.. an archive forum with all old-old threads?
EDIT: Guest Discussion is also useless. People should just register.

There, was that so hard? Your request will be considered and you will receive a response in approximately 6 to 8 weeks letting you know whether it was accepted or rejected.
Also, no old threads are being moved/deleted. Inactive threads automatically get pushed to the back as new posts are made. There's no need to unorganize them. They don't cause any "clutter" or get in the way of new stuff.

Well, then maybe people should post more. The old posts in more "full" boards will not be touched. If you were just talking about posts in any boards that will be removed, their contents will be just folded into other boards, thrashed, or moved to a subboard. Besides, I think it's messier if you just throw all old threads in one place instead of keeping them organized like they currently are. |

I think it's just a matter of...not having the front page be so cluttered. It could probably deter newer members from posting, being overwhelmed by the amount of "dead space" they see. I don't see it being that problematic to make them subforums.
