If you are able to, please share what you believe to be your favourite musician or song of all time. For me, I would quantify my favourite musician as being Tom Jenkinson who is typically referred to as Squarepusher, as I can listen to his music for hours on end on repeat and they never become boring to me even after years of listening. My favourite song by him would probably be Beep Street, Hello Meow, or Iambic 5 Poetry. Another favourite musician would likely be a tie between something like Autechre and Yellow Magic Orchestra, as they have been favourites of mine for a very long time.

It's hard to name one particular musician or song due the large number of different genres I listen to. Even in just one genre, there are a variety of artists I like. Rather, I can name genres that I hate with a passion, such as rap, hip hop, pop (most definitely including the Japanese variety), indie rock, J-rock, and anything involving blast beats, distorted screaming, gurgling, or a general lack of compositional skill or musical talent.

not everything that involves blast beats is bad edit: 99% of it is though

!And yeah, there are a few songs that manage to use blast beats well. Unfortunately, there are very few.

Acid Bath. That's the only band I can listen to in almost any mental or physical state.
