I still have the flat one, it's just bagged and stored away to prevent dust build-up.
the saitek is all worn out and I ended up breaking the spacebar oops. it wasn't a good investment for rhythm gaming, but back then I didn't know jack shit about keyboards so whatever.
I also have a brand-new logitech illuminated keyboard that I used only once or twice, which I got for free.
my cm storm quickfire pro mechanical keyboard is pretty much the only one that matters.

brown switches—for rhythm games in particular, they're arguably the best. I don't really play games and I'm a sloppy typer, so brown seemed best suited for me after having tried blue switches from dan's shitty razer blackwidow and red switches from my buddies' ducky shine and steelseries 6GV2. I only chose the cm quickfire pro because it was a keyboard none of my other rhythm gaming buddies owned and I dug the overall design of it, lol.
I kinda wish I waited for the quickfire TK model to release before buying the pro, but overall I'm quite satisfied with this keyboard.

ayy yeah i just like that retarded click you get because of the mechanics of blue switches. you can slightly depress it but it doesn't register until you press hard enough for the click

Buckling spring master race: I want to like Cherry Blues, which feels the closest to a buckling spring, but the actuation force is just too light for my violent keystrokes. I'm probably eventually going to give in though, as the Model M I have can barely process more than two keys at once.

I regret not taking a Model M.

I've actually had this IBM Model M2 pretty much since I was born. The buckling action is slightly less refined compared to the larger models, but it still mops the floor with Cherry switches while not taking up my entire desk. I just wish it wasn't PS/2 and didn't ghost like no one's business. CHALLENGE!Hold both shift keys and type the following sentence: THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG IBM Model M2:HE QUIK BROWN FO JUPS OER HE LA DOG Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750:THE QICK BROWN OX JMPS OVER THE LAZY OG

THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG
sup anti-ghosting. there still is n key rollover but it only happens if I'm pressing like 8+ keys at once. I only play up to 6keys for stepmania anyways so it's not a big deal.
my other 3 keyboards would fail hard though

Jesus Christ. I've outgrown liking that keyboard, although I'll still admit it's one of the better low profile keyboards to type on.

so yeah I think this apple keyboard is setting me back in BF4 because of all the keyboard combinations that don't work. So what keyboard would you recommend? Das Keyboard 4? Which switches would be the closest to the Model M?
