BFG - GeForce 6200 OCBFGR62256OCAGP 2.0 256MB DDR memory 375MHz core clock; dual 400MHz RAMDACs This thing is from 2006 - the price tag on it was apparently a little over 100 dollars. I doubt you have a need for this, though I really do need some cash to start saving for a graphics card. One can only do so much with integrated graphics. The package this guy sent me for no reason: http://www.anthemro.com/forums/index.php/topic,10581Copy pasta the link if you want to see.

I don't really have any money, actually (lol iPod touch). I can, however, offer a PNY Verto GeForce FX 5200 PCI. The value of this card is probably $10-$40 lower than the 6200, but you will be able to use it, and it's almost guaranteed to be faster than whatever integrated solution you currently have. Some specs for the card: PNY Verto GeForce FX 5200 PCINVIDIA GeForce FX 5200PCI interface 128 MB DDR Memory (dual-channelled 200 MHz; 400 MHz effective) 250 MHz core clock DirectX 9.0 / SM 2.0 Dual VGA output & S-Video (lol dual monitors) The Dumpster Dell has serious issues with using a PCI graphics card. The card itself is in full working order and operates perfectly in every other machine I have, including the PowerMac G4. With this card, - I've played through HL2 with high settings at 800x600 (or maybe 1024x768; I forget) with quite enjoyable framerates (I think I might have even been using heavy anisotropic filtering and some conservative AA);
- I've forced BF2 to move along at 10-20 fps with low settings and 100% draw distance at 800x600;
- Curtis has played the Halo trial (lmfao) at full settings at 800x600, with very nice framerates;
- Curtis also plays War Rock with full settings at 1024x768 with a framerate of about 25-30 fps.
If it's not faster than your integrated solution, it will at least have better DirectX and shader support.

If it's not faster than your integrated solution, it will at least have better DirectX and shader support. That's exactly what it didn't have.

The FX 5200 does have higher DirectX and shader model support. The problem is that the whole FX line was absolute trash when it came to running DX9 applications.
