So, I've been doing some looking around and made three important discoveries:
1) Making tables is now trivial, so anyone can do it. Seriously, you just press the table button and it makes the whole god damn thing for you, and you can even hit the preview button and edit it from there seeing exactly how it's going to look. That means no more spending hours making one beautiful table with like 100 rows. I expect to see a lot more tabling from the general population.
2) Quote pyramiding hasn't been touched, so we can still have fun watching people fail at that.
3) The non-working text "glow" option has been removed. It will be missed.

I believe glow only worked in Internet Explorer.

I believe glow only worked in Internet Explorer. Did anyone actually verify this?

I remember it working in Internet Explorer 6. I don't know if later versions worked. It never worked in Firefox, Chrome, Safari or anything WebKit based. I don't know about Opera.

Yeah, I also love how hard they're trying to push it as being cool and innovative in their shitty cartoon ads you keep seeing at the top of pages, as if anyone is going to give a shit.

They probably could have gotten away with it if they did it like seven years ago. It still would have been stupid, but at least they would have been in time with the general retardedness that was becoming popular then. It looks like they're trying way too hard to be hip and cool now.

It's funny too because they're taking the message board format, a primarily abandoned system only really used by people who consider social media to be faggotry these days, and trying to faggotize it. It's too old school for the social media faggots, and now there's too much social media faggotry for the old school users.

That's a lot of faggots in one post.

More Proboards v5 retardedness:
When you scroll down in a multi-paged thread, the page changer and search bar move down with it, but disappears if you go all the way to the bottom, so in order to switch pages you have to scroll up a bit. When you do change pages, your page stays at the same position it was in on the previous page, which is stupid, because if you're at the bottom of a page and switch to the next one, you probably will want to read from the top.

If a "real" browser is having issues displaying a page while others aren't, it isn't really a "real" browser now is it?
Chrome does kinda absorb cock these days though.
