literally copying shit i posted on fb that no one on fb cared about here under the false pretense that someone on xf might care
This is the construction site of the Humber River Hospital. Very grateful that PCL let Humber students come on a trip to check out the site of this amazing hospital! By the time it's done it will be one of the most technologically advanced and environmentally friendly hospitals in North America with a very interesting computer automated laundry and food elevator delivery service. I hate going to hospitals but I can't wait to see this facility when it's finished. Almost $1billion invested into this!
also it was a cloudy as fuck day and that's why the lighting is so bad
The two bed towers
the main floor
future diagnostics and therapy section
lol this is my prof who can barely speak english, silly russian. also she tried to hook up her daughter with kadeesh L O L
The framings for the walls which will eventually be put in place
There are 80 Air Handling Units in this building, so much ventilation to be taken care of!
west end t.o.
spoiler alerts: in the future me and all these people will be wasting YOUR tax money on coffee and donuts and making 2 hour drives to MTO to hand deliver letters
this is why they make us take like 6 revit courses
and make us build miniature things
when this shit is done it's gonna be the biggest and most technologically advanced hospital in the gta, and most likely all of canada
try to ignore how ghetto my table is (spoiler alerts: you can't). PCL also gave us these portable batteries which are pretty dope, can charge mini/microUSB and apple shitware, has a retractable cable and small enough to shove into your boxers discreetly.
like on the reezy i can't fucking wait to be a full fledged engineer and work on this shit.
goddamn I love the smell of modular washrooms being crane lifted into a building and glued in with pungent chemical adhesives
civil owns
