He doesn't make a dime off of 4chan (at least not until 4chan pass came out, and even that's negligible compared to server costs). he just gets spammed with thousands of angry emails a month. poor bastard made the site when he was 15, been living with his mom even now that he's 25 still trying to get a degree, and even moot's mom sometimes helps pays the massive server costs of 4chan because he's too much of a poorfag.

a 4chan pass costs like $20 and something like 12,500 faggots have bought one, me included. granted some when it was on sale for $10. so maybe if you consider he's sold 2 $10 for every $20 one, he's sold each for about $15. so he's made like 187500. ad money does help but mostly it's just companies that sell weeaboo bullshit on 4chan.

but yeah, he was also trying to run his own app called drawquest for ipads and his shitty website canvas no one liked. since the idea (and source code) wasn't stolen from hiroyuki nishimura, it was shit and no one cared. last actual report on moot's life was that he was living with his mom and trying to find a way to make money off of 4chan. besides 4chan pass, he's been pretty unsuccessful.

so yeah basically moot's mom has been helping a bunch of weebs shitpost about their waifus for the last 10 years now.
