While I have nothing against the 3DS itself, the people I come across with one often tend to be manchildren, weeaboos, fedora wearers, neckbeards, or a combination of the aforementioned. Why is that?

I really don't know, but I will admit that's part of the reason I feel somewhat uncomfortable playing a 3DS in public. I suppose Nintendo games are clearly marketed to be enjoyable by everyone from children to adults. But I actually think the hardcore neckbeards play Vita, since all of the Vita games are just weeb games. I don't really want to be associated with them, I feel like one of the few 'normal' people who likes the 3DS (I guess I could count as a weeb but that's a matter of debate). That's kind of why I ironically added "like a normal person". But at the same time, holy fuck dude. I have so many fucking games for that shit. Nintendo literally shits 3DS games. It just fucking has games. games games games holy fucking video games batman i have like 12 3ds games I haven't even started to play through yet, like 30 digital games on the 3ds, as well as all this shit (and more since this is an older photo)  I have a ps3, a smartphone, a pc that can run pretty much everything, a wii u, but honestly and truly I've definitely played more on the 3DS than anything else in the past 4 years. the fact that you get the whole DS library as well is great. And all the NES games. And a bunch of Gameboy games and holy fuck I give so much money to Nintendo it's retarded. I happily serve as their slave. I'm viral marketing right now for no reason and I'm not even getting paid. I just fucking love my 3ds. nintendo games are honestly speaking the only things that compare to playing starcraft and street figther for me in terms of challenge and difficulty, even though they're mostly single player games. tropical freeze just destroyed my anus, Fire Emblem Awakening I still haven't managed to beat because that game is hard as fuck, 3D Land (not pictured here because I lent it to a friend, but arguably the best game on the system) was one of the hardest games to fully complete I had played in years, shin megami tensei iv I poured like 88 hours into, pushmo and crashmo have puzzles that I still haven't managed to solve after owning the games for like a year it's practically impossible to not have games to play with a 3ds. it's better than the home consoles of this generation at this point. also has the massive benefit of being portable and having great battery life. and as for people who say the 3d effect absorbs or they can't see it, I don't understand this. I kind of wonder if they only have one eye open while playing the thing. the 3d effect always looks cool as fuck to me. all video games should have 3d in them. only complaint is that for some games (pokemon x and y I'm looking at you) the 3d effects cause framerate slowdowns which absorbs, so I turn it off for that game. it's because once you turn on 3d the game has to render 3 screens instead of just 2, which I guess gamefreak fucked up on. also, in my experience from playing the smash 3ds demo at best buy, Smash is probably going to be the best looking game on the console and it plays smooth as fuck. i'm completely down to line up at midnight for that shit. yeah seriously just buy a 3ds. get an xl if you can. it's the best handheld gaming platform ever made |

The asspie crowd is pretty much what keeps me from buying one. Curtis has a Vita and I don't really know what to say about it because the library is lacking and I don't ever see anyone else with one. It's pretty sweet to play PS4 remotely on it though, and the OLED screen is gorgeous.

It's pretty sweet to play PS4 remotely on it though, and the OLED screen is gorgeous. well just remember that everyone from celebrities and pro soccer players like 3ds. also ive met a bunch of pretty hot chicks who have a 3ds. it has universal appeal. whereas the vita is 100% a weeb machine. jrpgs and pantsu simulators galore, but not a video game in sight. even sony has given up on it and is now trying to market it as a ps4 peripheral |

this is now a nintendo viral marketing thread even captain america likes the 3ds  it's fun for the whole family  the kids  the businessman trying to have fun on his time off  pro soccer players trying to kill time on their way to the euro cup  really there's no reason not to own both a 3ds and a wii u look at all these fucking games  granted some of these are still on the way, but the way things are looking wii u is probably the best home console this gen even if the sales are the worst of the three  |

yeah i can do that. there's no point in upgrading, you don't need a better graphics card to play league of legends and cs 1.6 anyways.
nintendo doesnt even pay me to do this. true nintenshills do it for free

I sadly don't really care enough anymore to have that PC graphical edge when it's much easier to just sit down with a PS4 controller in front of a 3D FHD projector.
