also that video with kiki legit made me mad. kiki is an innocent young japanese delivery witch, not some disgusting kike.
but yeah idk some of these songs are alright but generally i just can't get into vaporwave/chillwave. it feels too bare for me even though they do pick some good music to sample from at times. i'd be more interested in the music these guys originally sampled to make their songs i think, a lot of 80s jpop and older electronica/disco from the sounds of it.
i've slowly become the kind of person who just likes listening to the soundtrack of whatever video game they're playing outside of some artists i really like
