www.apple.com/ca/macbook/1 USB-C port and a headset jack. 1 USB-C port. For charging and I/O. You can't charge and use an external display at the same time. You can't charge and plug in USB storage. You need to use a bulky dongle to connect literally anything to it. They've done it. They've gone full retard.

It's funny because when I went to class a bunch of people were literally standing around looking at these new Macbooks and planning to buy them. I really don't understand Macfags at all. The thing you have to realize about Apple is that they're not stupid, they've never gone full retard. The people buying their products and effectively filling their pockets have always been full retard. If anything, I'm pretty sure the executives at Apple generally spend every year baffled at how stupid their consumers are, and then just sit down and have a healthy discussion about how they can Jew their customers even harder, since absolutely none of them seem to mind shelling out an extra $1000 or so over whatever Apple tells them to buy.
Apple isn't even a computer, electronics, hardware or software company to me anymore. They're a fashion company, and they run themselves very well.

You're pretty much right. There might be some good to come out of this though by pushing the USB-C standard like they did with Thunderbolt, both being pretty good advancements in I/O, but it won't make it any less of a useless monoport piece of shit.

Apple's Magic Mouse 2 is out. It ditches AA's in favour of a lithium battery which recharges via USB-C. They put their best minds together to come up with this brilliant and innovative design:  I'm actually impressed. The only way you could design this any worse would be if they placed the port on the top of the mouse. Between the MacBook and this abomination, I'm starting to feel convinced that Apple is deliberately trying to design the most useless shit just to see who will still buy it, for $79 USD no less. |

I think active digitizer pens are supposed to be more accurate or something like that. For something dumb like an iPad Pro though they definitely should have used a passive one.
In other news, turns out the new MacBook Pros can't use Wi-Fi and USB-C at the same time. Fantastic.
