i believe that the post was deleted, but not this thread. you can't find the post on the account, but it does list this as one of the threads that was made by the account. very odd actually.

I have solved the mystery. This is ametriaslyles' account. Note the 1 post list, no posts made, one thread created, account was last online April 28th, 2:38AM. I replied to this thread at 4:04AM, the first post was deleted shortly after. If you create a new thread, as long as someone has replied to the thread (even the original poster), the thread will stay up even after the first post has been deleted. I am aware of this. What is mysterious for me is that the security log makes no mention of it or anyone else deleting the post.

check if there's a record of deletion of the first post of that test thread I made. maybe it only documents the thread being deleted and not necessarily the post that started it.
