honestly all things considered, Blade Runner deserves to replace Moonwalker on the list I made. possibly the best hard science fiction movie about artificial intelligence ever made, also the best Ridley Scott movie and best Harrison Ford movie. The soundtrack is also amazing, atmospheric, happens to be one of the most sampled soundtracks ever. all the alien movies (and prometheus) are really good ridley scott movies too even though han solo and indiana jones are iconic characters, deckard is my favourite ford character. it's kind of funny, the movie is set in 2019 even though we don't have hovercars and shit flying around, but somehow it always looks like the most realistic depiction of the future to me: grimy, technology everywhere, . maybe if the years had been put up to 2049 or something it would be more accurate. the way everything is shot is so nicely done, you need to fully take in EVERYTHING that happens on the screen to fully appreciate Blade Runner I think. god i love surround sound

Fuck it, I change my list. As retarded as it sounds, I have rewatched most of the films on my list within the last year or two. And if I'm being 100% honest to myself, it isn't completely real to who I am. Might as well remove Moonwalker entirely since it is complete trash as a cohesive film even if you are an MJ stan. And place Kill Bill as #1, despite how retarded that sounds. Both films as one cohesive work are like a love letter to everything that makes me a movie fan. Lord Quentin is a true maximum powerlevel autist, and Kill Bill is his magnum opus eternally, he will never surpass it. Nothing will surpass that Vol. 2 title sequence. David Carradine is a man who fucking killed himself while jerking off and suffocating himself, not too long after playing one of the most iconic villains ever in Bill. The music choices, the locations and cinematography, the small details like a Japanese fountain tipping over with water in the middle of a duel with samurai swords. The retarded training sequence with Pai Mei all the way to the final duel with Bill. I feel like people either hate Kill Bill or love it, no in between. Like it's something hardwired into people's DNA to love it or not. Also most likely the clowncel masterpiece Joker will make my top ten list somehow.

Just like Kill Bill couldn't be contained in just a single film, my love for this movie can't be contained in a single post. People argue about whether vol 1 or vol 2 was better, but I seriously can't understand how people can't view it as one long film split into two. And I'm being 100% serious when I say this movie has the greatest soundtrack of all time. I didn't even realize I liked Spanish rock music until Quentin used it perfectly.
