the entire class of 50 or so people were watching the profs test our bridge. also the groups who already broke their bridges were destroying them in the lab room. at the end of the day we have several garbage bags filled with everyone's destroyed bridges we recycle.

each plate is 10 kg = 22lbs, our prof counted out the weight in kilos
he was talking about us actually designing an office/apartment building for the final year project and trying to test it for both compressive stress (what's going on here) and tensile stress on the sides, should be fun
