I'd just like to state for the record that I've always firmly believed that the Salem witch trials had absolutely nothing to do with Witchcraft, and everything to do with radical (at the time) progressive feminists.
Even the ancient Mayans would commit acts of ritual abortion where they would sacrifice the body of an unborn child or the criminals of the city to Quetzalcoatl. The sacrifice of young blood to deities is a practice as old as Man's first preconceptions about a higher power. In Salem, spinsters starved of human contact and male attention would resort to lesbianism and forming sororities of other lonely, weird women who would basically commit sex acts on one another while studying witchcraft. In such case that a woman did become pregnant from a man, the opportunity would be taken by the other sisters in the coven to commit a ritual sacrifice of the unborn child as a conduit for demonic mana: ie Abortion. Much in the same way most of these witches in Salem at the time were not really witches, unless you consider the idea that they were sacrificing their own unborn to Satan to be a form of witchcraft. Naturally, the citizens who became aware of this put an end to this lesbianic sorcery and made a bbq out of those spinsters.
Essentially third wave feminism is witchcraft. It encourages lesbianism, ostracism from the family unit, mass abortion (Planned Parenthood basically is the modern day Witches' Coven); basically everything that tears civilizations apart is encouraged by third wave feminism. Those angry villagers burning women alive in a pyre did absolutely nothing wrong. Better to abort a 35 year old witch/feminist than an innocent unborn child.
