DOOM (2016) was the first Bethesda game I can honestly say I truly enjoyed, also one of the best FPS campaigns I've ever played through. I don't know how many of you guys played through the game Prey back in 2006, but it was pretty cool. Passable, but fun at the time.
A few years back Bethesda bought the franchise, and basically decided to completely remake everything except the name "Prey". I have to say it looks at least 10x fucking cooler than the original game and already looks like a more interesting FPS franchise than DOOM in terms of story at least. Don't believe me, take a look for yourself. Also it's running on CryEngine (funny since Crysis is dead af lol). Unlike DOOM which is basically wake up, go forward and kill, kill, kill, Prey is more in the vein of a first person Metroidvania so that aspect is interesting too.
Looking forward to seeing how this thing pans out in May. I have faith in whoever's on the FPS team at Bethesda now so I will give it a chance.
Also lol literally everyone in the game (including the protagonist and his female counterpart) are all "Morgan Yu".
