Man... looking back at this thread now. It's so fucking weird that I used to give a shit about PS5 a few months ago. Reading this thread now is like reading someone elses' post now. Only way I'm gonna buy one is if Demon Souls takes 3 years to come to PC or if FFVIIR-II has a year of Sony exclusivity or something. I'm not fucking waiting a year to play the sequel to FFVIIR while other people are playing it, I'll resell the PS5 shortly after if need be. Now that Kinoberus Omega is so vastly overpowered compared to a PS5 I finally see the consoles for what they are: shitty exclusive boxes. And the thing is some of those exclusives are legitimately fantastic games that everyone should at least try, but it's just fucking gay how these corporations force people to buy an underpowered piece of plastic with dogshit awful ventilation to play these games in mediocre settings. It's a goddamn shitty deal, but for the right game I'll bite. Now that I've felt the true power of 36 TFlops of rasterization coupled with 142 AI Tensor Tflops and 70 RTX TFlops all working in tandem to produce 4K120FPS output with ray tracing and DLSS enabled... bro fuck this shit. Now I hate all consoles
except the Switch which is objectively the best console on the market right now and even after PS5 and XSeS/XSeX drop. Just can't beat the enormous first party Nintendo library but also the portability and versatility of the platform making it excellent for lower spec titles. 4K Switch is gonna be some dopeness. I don't actually care how awful the performance of the Switch is because it still runs more games at rock solid 60fps than modern Xbox and PS consoles.
